There are currently three ways you can access you VFS instance:
- Using the GUI through Horizon;
- Using the Command Line (CLI), via Horizon;
- Using the Command Line (CLI), via SSH.
Please note that the GUI option is recommended, as VFS was designed to be used around Horizon.
The CLI is ideal for advanced users that wish to automate their processes. While we won’t cover how to automate the process, this guide will show how to access the firewall using both GUI and CLI.
In all cases, the use of a VPN is required. Please follow these instructions to create a Rapid Access Cloud VPN before proceeding with the steps below.
