The following license activation example was done on a PAN-OS 9.1.1 VM. 

It is assumed that the authorization code (authcode) is readily available.

Log in to the web interface of the firewall:

  1. Select: "Device" then "Licenses" and click “Activate feature using authorization code”. Enter the authorization code and click “OK”:

    Click “Ok” on the warning pop-up window:

  2. After a couple of minutes, refresh the webpage and the activated firewall features will be displayed under Device > Licenses:
